Recipe of the Month

 

Tomato Basil Salad

 

Ingredients:

 

1 pint of grape tomatoes

1 bunch of basil

2 TBSP of extra virgin olive oil

Splash of  white wine vinegar

1/2 cup of blue, goat or gorgononzola cheese

Salt & pepper to taste

Juice form 1/2 lemon

 

To prepare:

 

Cut tomatoes in half and chiffonade(roll up & cut into fine strips) the basil placing into the mixing bowl

Place remaining ingredients into bowl & mix

Then serve or refrigerate
